24 of our boys played in the OC and Southend festivals on Sunday and it was a fantastic day. All the boys played extremely well and did the club proud both on and off the pitch. Combining the results, the boys played a total of 18 games and only narrowly faced defeat on 2 occasions. The boys who represented us at Southend were able to walk away from the festival clinching the Runner’s up Cup and also winning the Plate. A fantastic achievement!!! A special thank you to all the parent’s for helping keeping the boys entertained in between matches at both festivals.

Congratulations
Needless to say, everyone played extremely well on Sunday and all the boys in the squad should be extremely proud of the success and achievement. Rather than award one or two players, we would like to start next session with the coaches presenting the entire squad with the newly acquired silverware! This will give parents and coaches a chance to all congratulate the squad together.

30th of March – Kent Finals Dover
All, I am still awaiting further confirmation on the Kent Finals festival at Dover. For those who are on the coach, we plan to leave the club at 7:30am. I have been verbally advised that the festival has an end time of 2:00pm however this time allows for any delays. Based on previous festivals, I would anticipate finishing earlier than this. For those driving, please be at the festival for 9:15am. More details to follow.

27th of April – Presentation Day / Parents Fun Day
The club presentation day will be held on the 27th of April after training which will include the presentation of awards to some of our boys. We are also considering making this last session a ‘Fun Day’ with parents (Yes – that includes you Mums) to be involved.
