The Kent U18 Girls Sevens tournament took place at Sheppey RFC, with four strong sides competing: BASSDARTS, Beccs Valley, BullOaks, and Tonbridge Juddians.
Heading into the tournament, BASSDARTS were chasing history — already crowned Kent League and Cup champions, the squad now had their sights set on a first-ever county treble.
Strong Through The Group Stages
With three round-robin fixtures to navigate, BASSDARTS showed consistency and attacking quality throughout:
BullOaks 14 – 22 BASSDARTS
Beccs Valley 14 – 26 BASSDARTS
Tonbridge Juddians 0 – 54 BASSDARTS
Each game brought its own challenges, but BASSDARTS adapted well — combining pace, support play and clinical finishing to top the group and book their place in the final.
Final: A Familiar Rival
The final saw a repeat of the Kent Cup showdown just a week earlier, as BASSDARTS faced Beccs Valley once again.
This time, the contest proved tighter and more competitive, with both sides battling hard in open play. However, BASSDARTS showed composure when it mattered most, taking their chances and controlling key moments to secure a 26–12 victory.
History Made
With the final whistle, BASSDARTS completed a remarkable achievement:
? Kent League Champions
? Kent Cup Winners
? Kent Sevens Champions
A county treble — a first for the squad and a testament to their hard work, consistency and team spirit across the 2025/26 season.
A Season To Remember
This has been a season defined by commitment, growth and togetherness. From the first fixture to Finals Day, the squad has consistently delivered with intensity and belief, earning every success along the way. To finish as League, Cup and Sevens champions is a remarkable achievement and a fitting reward for the effort shown by every player throughout the year.
