Match Report: BECCSVALLEY U18 Girls vs BASSDARTS U18 Girls - Kent Cup Final

Under blistering sunshine and on a firm, unforgiving pitch, BASSDARTS U18s delivered a statement performance to secure the Kent Cup title with a commanding 55–0 victory over Beccs Valley.

Coming into the final, both sides had been closely matched throughout the season, but BASSDARTS rose to the occasion with a display of intensity, control and clinical finishing.

Fast Start Sets The Tone

From the opening whistle, BASSDARTS imposed themselves physically and played with tempo, moving the ball quickly and stretching the defence. Early pressure translated into points, settling any nerves and giving the side immediate control of the contest.

Control in Tough Conditions

The conditions were far from easy. The hard surface made handling and footing a challenge, while the heat tested fitness and discipline. Despite this, BASSDARTS managed the game intelligently — balancing direct forward play with width, and maintaining composure throughout.

Defensively, the team were outstanding. Beccs Valley were kept under constant pressure, with strong tackling and organisation preventing any real attacking momentum and ultimately securing a clean sheet.

Clinical When It Counted

Where BASSDARTS really stood out was in their efficiency. Opportunities were taken well, with support play, offloads and quick recycling allowing attacks to keep flowing. As the game progressed, the pressure told, and the scoreboard continued to move.

Finishing Strong

Even with the result becoming clear, the intensity never dropped. BASSDARTS continued to work hard in both attack and defence, showing the mentality that has defined their season. The final whistle confirmed a 55–0 win and a fully deserved Kent Cup triumph.

The Bigger Picture

This wasn’t just a win — it was the culmination of a season built on:

Consistency
Teamwork
Work rate
Belief

To deliver such a performance in a final speaks volumes about the group.
