Last weekend saw Round 1 of the U18 Girls Kent Cup take place, producing two close and competitive fixtures.

TJs Academy 22 – 34 Ashford/Cobra

These results mean BASSDARTS will travel away to face Ashford/Cobra in the Kent Cup Semi-Final on Sunday 15th March.

A New Opponent

During the league campaign BASSDARTS faced Cobra, but never had the opportunity to play Ashford. The semi-final opponent therefore comes in the form of a new clustered side (Ashford/Cobra) — making this an unfamiliar challenge for the squad.

What’s at Stake

The winners of the semi-final will progress to Finals Day on Sunday 26th April.

• Win the semi-final → Kent Cup Final
• Lose the semi-final → Plate Final

Either way, a place on Finals Day is guaranteed.

With knockout rugby now underway, the final stretch of the season is shaping up to be an exciting one for the squad.
