Sunday 26th April promises to be a standout day for the club, as both our U16s and U18s — newly crowned Kent League champions — take to the field in their respective Kent Cup Finals.
The day gets underway with our U16s, who face a formidable TJ side that reached the National Cup Semi-Final and boasts a squad packed with Kent County talent. These two sides are no strangers to each other, having already shared the spoils this season. TJ came out on top in the National Cup, while Darts claimed victory in the Kent League decider. With honours even, this final sets the stage for a true decider between the county’s top two teams. Expect a fast-paced, high-quality contest featuring some of the finest young players in Kent.
Later in the day, our U18s step up for their own final against Beccs Valley — a strong and well-established rival across the girls’ section. With a squad featuring a blend of county-level players and athletes progressing through the England pathway, Beccs Valley will provide a serious test. Rivalry, pride, and silverware are all on the line in what promises to be another thrilling encounter.
With both teams already securing league titles, the opportunity to complete a remarkable double is within reach. The question is: can the girls go one step further and bring home all the county honours?
Kick-off times are 11:30 for the U16s and 15:00 for the U18s, with both finals taking place at Beccehamian's Rugby Club.
Supporters are encouraged to come along, get behind the teams, and be part of what promises to be a fantastic day of rugby.
