Just wanted to say thank you to the coaches - Jose, Michael, Karl, Paul and Steven - for all their hard work this season. A really big thanks also to Liz for organising us and to Maggie Cairney and Debbie Raymond for helping Liz out.

But the biggest thanks go to all of your children. I am sure I am speaking for all the coaches when I say that it gives us all great enjoyment to be working with such a wonderful group of children. And it makes us all proud in the way that they play and conduct themselves when playing at other clubs and in the festivals.

And thanks to all you parents too. It is easier in the cold and wet to be running around with the children than standing on the touchline - although I'm sure us coaches would gladly swap places on the more pleasant days!

I hope that everyone enjoyed the Presentation Day yesterday and I promise that I will be better prepared for my speech next year. For those that were unable to attend, the U7 Most Improved Player of the Year trophy was awarded to Sam Spoor and the U7 Player of the Year trophy was awarded to Louie Mason. To be honest, all of the children were worthy of each award.

I will keep you all informed throughout the summer of the plans for next season but for now, please put these dates in your diaries:
