Training at Home with Old Elthamians

All,

Firstly, the coaches would all like to thank you very, very much for the Christmas pressies.

Also we were all impressed with the boys last week and our fears that they would have forgotten everything they had been taught last year never came close to materialising. Special congratulations go to:

Ethan Villalta - Tag of the Week;
Ben Foster - Pass of the Week;
Luke Bray - Best Behaved of the Week; and
Ruairi Cadden - Player of the Week

Please can you ensure that all trophies are returned this week so that they can be re-awarded.

This week we are training at home and will be joined by Old Elthamians. Training starts as normal at 10:00am. Please allow enough time to park in the Holiday Inn or Hall Place as there will be limited parking available at the club as there is no parking on the grass.

Can I also ask for help in the kitchen and with Car Parking duties on Sunday as all age groups have been asked to cover the duties this week. Please make us proud coaches of our parents as well as our kids!

Dinner & Dance - Saturday 12th April

We need to know numbers for this event and will require full payment by end of February. Cost is £100 per person but includes food, drink and entertainment. It will be held in a Marquee at the Club and is always a fantastic evening.Attached is a Standing Order instruction should you wish to spread your payments.

However, please can you let me know whether you are interested or not, or whether you are going with another age group already, by responding to this e-mail so I can start sorting out tables for our age group.

Saracens v Harlequins at Wembley on Saturday 22nd March

Thanks to those who have already responded. For anyone else interested please let me know as we will be ordering tickets very shortly.

As a reminder, Saracens will be playing Harlequins at Wembley on 22nd March and, as a partner club of Saracens, we have the opportunity to see the game at very reasonable prices. The game commences at 3:15pm but there will be on field entertainment from 2:00pm.

All the club will sit in the same area and the club will also receive cashback from each ticket purchased. Also depending on numbers we can take part in the Pride in Unity Parade around the pitch prior to kick off again. For anyone that hasn’t taken part in this before it is a unique opportunity to walk around the pitch whilst the players are warming up and to get the first feel of how the stadium feels for a player. To join in with the Pride in Unity Parade we will need at least 40 children to attend and they will need to be in their club Rugby kit"
Tickets are priced from only £16.50 for adults and £5 for Junior (U16). Anyone interested should let me know as soon as possible advising how many tickets are required (adult and child).

Saracens Training Camp - February half term

There will be a Saracens Training Camp during the February half term at the Club. Details are on the website and the cost is between £50 and £60 for the two day training session which includes food and experienced Saracens coaches. All the boys are now at a stage where they would benefit greatly from these courses.

See you all Sunday.
