The sport of Rugby Union helps to provide all those involved with positive life values and to that end, the Kent County RFU are partnering with Charlie Hartley and his Lessons From the Field books. The books provide an easy way for children to read stories and understand the positive values that are covered. The partnership with the County also means that there is a discount on the books - please see the communications on the launch below and if you order a book (or more) you will be able to add in the Dartfordians RFC club name.
Kent County RFU & Lessons From the Field Promote Rugby Values
The Kent County Rugby Football Union is pleased to announce a new partnership with Lessons from the Field — a children's book series that uses stories related to Rugby and its culture storytelling to help young players build confidence, resilience, teamwork and a deeper connection to the game.
As part of this collaboration, all Kent clubs can access an exclusive 10% discount on Rugby: Lessons from the Field using the code KentRFU10.
? Kent County RFU Landing Page: https://www.lessonsfromthefield.co.uk/kentrfu
When purchasing, buyers can also enter the name of their rugby club, helping us understand engagement across the county.
This initiative is aimed particularly at our Minis and younger age groups, brothers and sisters, supporting coaches, parents and volunteers in reinforcing the values that make rugby so special.
Post-launch, the County will work with Charlie Hartley, the author of the books, to provide some dates for clubs to listen to the ideas behind them books and Charlie's desire to promote positive life values.
The CB encourages all clubs to share the link with their Minis sections and wider membership.
If your club would like to join one of the upcoming video calls, once arranged or has any questions, please get in touch.
Best wishes, Kent County Rugby Football Union
