On Saturday 21st September at the Intercontinental Hotel O2, Greenwich Dartfordians RFC celebrated its 95th Anniversary, having been founded in 1924 following a meeting organised by Major Harold Pochin who was Headmaster of Dartford Grammar School.

Special guests included the Club's main sponsors RTS, Dermot Gillivan from DGS and Peter 'Rabbo' Graham on behalf of the ODA Trustees....

Just under 300 Dartfordians met at this great venue and after the welcoming speech and warm up games, sat down to dinner and conversation with good friends. Whilst this was going on there was a Silent Auction, cash games in play and once dinner was finished was the Live Auction with many items provided by Michael Hall (thanks Michael). With the formalities out of the way guests danced the night away to the Fun Time Frankies and DJ.

A great night was had by all and so far the night raised c£5,000 which will go towards various items that the club is looking to purchase e.g. new rugby posts. Thank you to all who attended and helped out on the evening, with special thanks to Sandra Soler-Gomez and Tim Geoghegan who did all the work in advance of the evening and made it such a huge success....
