The clubhouse was buzzing with 80 sat down to a pre-match lunch, with great food served up by chef Steve Taylor and his very able gang, as well as the libations being served by Megan and the team.

During the lunch there was also a collection for the RFU's Injured Players Foundation and thank you to all those who contributed - the collection raised £604....

A minutes clap was held in memory of Greg Wright, with visuals of Greg with Mickey Skinner and Rabbo on the big screen.

Thanks to all those who attended the lunch and supported the 1s as they took on Dover - win the game and they could secure second place in Kent Counties 1. As it turned out they won 24-7, with a try bonus point - see the players post match picture and celebrations went in into the evening.

The Demons made Beckenham work hard for their league win and the Angels played in an entertaining loss to Southwark Lancers, with 9 of the previous seasons Academy players taking to the pitch.

Next week, the 13th April, the Mens 1s visit KCS in the first round of the Papa John's Cup - a coach will be leaving the club at 1115 if there is anyone who would like to travel over there and support the team.
