The long awaited clash between

The long awaited clash between clash between The Demons and Sheppey finally came to fruition after the postponement 3 weeks ago. Despite the boggy and wet conditions the spirits were high as both teams took to the field for what promised to be an exhilarating encounter. From the kick off The Lemons exhibited sheer determination and impeccable team work asserting their dominance early on. Despite the challenging conditions they showcased remarkable handling skills and and precise offloading throughout the game. In the first half they set the tempo with a flurry of tries displaying their attacking prowess. Navi, Callum and Pickles all made their mark on the scoreboard with Ali Barker slotting in a conversion from the touchline. The cohesive efforts of the entire team shone through everywhere as they capitilised on every opportunity presented to them.
As the game progressed into the second half the Demons continued their relentless pursuit for victory and Max, Charlie, Eddie and James Garvey added to the tally with their well executed tries demonstrating unwavering resilience in the adverse conditions. Eddie successfully converting obe of these tries further solidifying the lead. Throughout the match standout performances were witnessed across the board. Captain Billy Wilson's leadership was instrumantal in guiding the team while Joe Johnson, Si Briggs Ali Barker, Adam Selley and Charle Williams showcased exemplaryskill and determination on the field. The renaaisance continues for Joe Careyas he exemplified solidity in the scrum. Nat formidable presence in the centre added depth to the Lemons attacking atrtegy consistently gaining ground with powerful carries.. Despite a late challenge from Sheppeyresulting in two tries the Demons maintained their composure and secured a well deserved victory. Sheppey's efforts were commendable but ultimately fell short against what was a formidable displayby Dartfordians Demons. The excursion off the bench for James Matkins our resident Vet, Tom Garrett and Joe Bibby showed why it is squads and not teams that win games. With this impressive victorythe Demons continue to solidify their position in the league table setting the stage for more thrilling encounters in the matches to come.
