Darts II - 9 v Old Elthamians II - 43

After weeks of anticipation the 2nd IX ventured out onto the St Marys pitch.
After a promsiung start O'E's forwards dominated the scrum and scored two well worked tries. Darts continued to add pressure and were able to add 3 penalties to the scoreboard thanks to Tom Griggs boot. Despite Darts battling well we were inconstant in our performance, which is expected in our first game of the season.
O'E's young side continued to push and their ability to capatalise on Darts inconsistancy allowed them to scroe two break away tries in the 2ns half.
This was despite the socre a well fought and competetive game for both young sides.
